Wednesdays 7pm-9pm: June 14, July 19th, August 16th 

In this Jazz dance class, students will learn the essential fundamentals of dance, including
performance, technique, lines and precision, dynamics and textures, level changes, formation

changes, use of space, grooves, and isolations.

The students will have the opportunity to delve into each of these fundamental elements of Jazz
dance, gaining a deeper understanding of how to execute them with grace and precision. They
will learn how to convey their personality and energy on stage or in front of a camera, while also

exploring how to develop their own unique style.

Through a series of engaging lessons and exercises, the students will become more
comfortable with each element of Jazz dance, building up their skills and confidence along the
way. They will learn how to create visually stunning pictures and angles with their bodies,
exploring the use of different movement styles and speeds to convey different emotions and moods.

Additionally, the students will gain a deeper understanding of how to use level changes,
formations, and space to create compelling choreography, learning how to tell a story through
their movements. They will also explore how to incorporate grooves and isolations into their

movements to add more musicality, precision, and flair.

By the end of the class, the students will have a well-rounded understanding of Jazz dance and
be able to apply these fundamentals in their future performances. They will have gained a
deeper appreciation for the art form and will be able to use their new skills to express

themselves in a unique and meaningful way.
